Songs For Eleonor se formó a finales del año 2005 en la Ciudad de México y está compuesto por Karen Ruíz (voz y letras) y Andrés Almeida (musicalización y producción).
La música de Songs For Eleonor se basa en la experimentación electrónica y en el desarrollo de sentimientos y emociones mutuas. A su vez, intenta mantener una postura fiel a su gusto musical y a sus diversas influencias, despertando un aire nostálgico basado en la exploración digital.

Songs For Eleonor was formed near the end of year 2005 in Mexico City and is formed by Karen Ruiz (vocals and lyrics) and Andrés Almeida (musicalization and production).
Songs For Eleonor’s music is based on electronic experimenting and the development of mutual emotions and feelings. At the same time, they try to maintain a faithful stance towards their musical taste and diverse influences, awakening a nostalgic air based on digital exploration. Part of Songs For Eleanor’s first production, and upcoming release, was created via the Internet.
